Practicing Patchwork...

Hello hello!
As promised in my last post, I'll show some scrap work. :) I was practicing with sewing machine and made 3 little purses (one is happily living with my sister), second one is free and third (I made it first) is my favorite and is in high usage!
So here they are, my first sewing pieces:

I know they are not perfect, but I love them to bits! :) Be definitely doing more!
Also enjoying my learning process of Mountmellick Embroidery. Its absolutely fantastic technique and I love every new stitch. Show what I've learned in the next post!

P.S. Was at my friends from college birthday party on Saturday  was great fun!

Keep craftey,

And the Winner is...

Hello blog!
Supposed to do that draw for Blackbird Design yesterday, but was so tired, so left it for today. Woohoo, I'm so excited! Even that I had only two participants, I still enjoyed to do this draw this lovely morning!
So participants were:

  1. Nina
  2. Irina (Airin)

I wrote names on two pieces of paper and put them
in my Elvis box
Shake
And the winner is....
Airin! Congratulations!
So yeah, Airin is the next stitcher! Big congratulations to the winner. All I need know is winners e-mail address, so I can sent her pattern straight away!
Rules and my finished piece are in my blog post here.

Hope everyone doing well, we sure are! Sorry for not blogging much anymore, I am just so busy being awesome mother and also enjoying my pregnancy too.
My crafty news are that I started to learn how to quilt and patchwork, and started to learn Mountmellick Embroidery!
So I be back very soon to show what I learn!

Keep yourself warm and happy,

Hello blog!
I finally finished stitching it! I am so sorry for that awful delay. Supposed to finish it ages ago, but managed just finish it now. And its not even framed or something, i didn't decide what i want to do with it yet.
Right so, job is done, and here are results:
And here how colors look in real life:

I was 4th stitcher  who stitch this travelling design. Its was stitched on 32 count Belfast Linen Vintage Country Mocha, with unknown threads( I used what I had).
So if you want to be next stitcher to stitch this chat please leave the comment down below stating that you are interested in the drawing of this chart ( yes I am going to take someones name from the box). I will take the name on 17th of May!
Requirements for this draw are:

  1. You have to have an active blog
  2. Have to stitch this design very quick (sorry I was so bad at this point)
  3. After you finish stitching it pass it along to the next stitcher via a drawing on your blog
  4. Post you finish and the history of where the chart has traveled  like this:
So you all welcome to participate  Comment below and I announce next stitcher on 17th of May! Best of luck to everybody!
