Spring Flowers Biscornu

Made this one for my mama, she loves spring flowers and light pastel colors.
This biscornu was made on 14 count white Aida, using bright pink, pink, light green and green threads. Design is from Aurelle.

When I was 7 years old my granny showed me how to crochet. I am crocheting ever since. I would call myself a crafter, a maker. I am trying different crafts all the time, always trying new materials and techniques. The process of craft drives me.

As an artist I like simple lines, color, flowery patterns, vintage patterns, animal prints and sailor stripes.

50s are huge inspiration for me, this was a decade of experimentation in fashion, music and sociology. Influence comes in many forms and finds its way back to craft.
