Fairy with baby

Hey everyone,
want to share my started work 'Fairy with baby' which I started to stich 2 months ago, and this is how process goin. About a half still left to do. Cant wait to finish this lovely project and put it in nice frame to decorate my baby's room. JOY!

Everything vintage! Yes that is me. Everything vintage is my key to the secret garden, my way down the rabbit hole, my looking glass.

When I was 7 years old my granny showed me how to crochet. I am crocheting ever since. I would call myself a crafter, a maker. I am trying different crafts all the time, always trying new materials and techniques. The process of craft drives me.

As an artist I like simple lines, color, flowery patterns, vintage patterns, animal prints and sailor stripes.

50s are huge inspiration for me, this was a decade of experimentation in fashion, music and sociology. Influence comes in many forms and finds its way back to craft.
